Highlights:
Heavy rainfall exceeding 100 mm, surpassing 10% of the record, is expected in the southern parts of Western Bahar el Gazal State, the northern parts of Western Equatoria State (Tambura, Ezo and Yambio). The northern parts of Jonglei State (Atar, Ayod, Wat and parts of Nyirol). The South of Upper Nile State (Tonga, Sobat and Latjor), and the southern parts of Unity State (Koch and Leer).
Moderate Rainfall (over 50 mm, exceeding the top 10% on record) is anticipated over most States of South Sudan.
Light rainfall (less than 50 mm) is expected across most areas of Central Equatoria, most parts of Eastern Equatoria, central & northern parts of Upper Nile State, and the northern parts of Western Bahar el Gazal State.
